My computer crashed and now PC-Rail won't start up.
A:
This is usually due to files being corrupted after an abnormal closedown. It is generally indicated by an error message such as "VFP error 2091" or "VFP error 52" when the program is run.
The solution is usually simple - reinstall the simulation software.
If the problem remains and affects only one simulation, import the simulation again. If this still does not resolve the problem, uninstall the simulation affected and import it again.
In a few rare cases you will need to fully uninstall the PC-Rail Plus software first before installing again.
Please note that if you have to uninstall you will need to re-enter your registration details and also reimport any additional timetables, etc.
