A quite complex but thoroughly enjoyable simulation based on the Power Box at Warrington on the West Coast Main Line. There are regular main-line services to London, Birmingham and Scotland, regional express services between Manchester, Chester and North Wales and also local services to Liverpool.
The simulation includes the Chat Moss line (opened by the Liverpool and Manchester Railway in 1830), the St Helens line, the Southport line and the Helsby line to Ellesmere Port.
As well as Bank Quay, stations include Wigan North Western, Wigan Wallgate and a number of smaller stations, as well as the Royal Mail rail terminal at Dallam.
The included timetable is for a Monday in 2012, including 424 trains over a 12 hour period.
