Glasgow Central

Glasgow Central is the city\\\'s major mainline rail terminus. Opened by the Caledonian Railway in 1879, it is the northern terminus of the West Coast Main Line (397 miles north of London Euston) and for inter-city services between Glasgow and England.

With its 13 platforms and the large number of main line and local services, it is the busiest station in Scotland in passenger numbers.

The timetable is for a weekday in 1989 and includes no less that 870 train movements over 24 hours.

Glasgow Central is one of our Nostalgia Series simulations.
