Not one of the more "popular" or well known locations, but this is a simulation full of interest and variety.
On the Midland Main Line, Trent has a full triangular junction and is the point at which routes converge from Leicester, Derby, Nottingham and the Erewash Valley line to Sheffield.
Train movements are very varied, with Midland main line and cross-country passenger services and a lot of traffic, including freight trains to the large Toton Yards nearby and Ratcliffe Power Station.
Trent is a relatively old Power Box, dating back to 1969 when it replaced a considerable number of very busy manual boxes. The simulation includes Sheet Stores Junction and Long Eaton station.
