On the Bristol to Exeter main line, Yatton was a busy place in the 1950's at the time
of this fine Heritage simulation. As well as services on the
main line, Yatton was the junction for the branch lines to
the seaside town of Clevedon and the Cheddar Valley Line to
Wells, known as the "Strawberry Line". With sidings, goods
shed, loco shed and a turntable this is a fascinating
recreation of a bygone era.
The Summer 1954 timetable is a busy one with main line
expresses passing through, stopping passenger trains and the
two branch line services, as well as freight traffic and
shunting movements.
Yatton (Somerset) is one of our Heritage Series simulations.
