MANCHESTER PICCADILLY SIGNALLING CENTER
=======================================

This is a newer version of Manchester Piccadilly signalling panel with latest software to date.
The signalling and track layout is to date to which the signalling area control room is situated next to Manchester Piccadilly main station.

The actual panel is a large display on one side of wall in the signalling room,showing train movements and signalling aspects only,from Heaton Chapel to Bolton, with sub control panel desks having push button controls and track diagrams so the signaller operates train movement by setting up route buttons along track diagrams and signaller will see on a larger display on wall showing the route has been set up and signalling aspects

This simulation covers an area of Styal,Manchester Airport,Longsight Depot,Ardwick station and Ardwick TMD,Manchester Piccadilly having 14 platforms 1-14,Platforms 1 to 12 is a terminus station and platform 13 and 14 is a throu station to Oxford Road,Deansgate, North West desinations and Trafford Park Euro freight terminals

     Routing of Trains
     =================
     
Signal Numbers with [Blue] Line Abreviations ;eg 342 DE are of a large circular sign displaying line route above signals.
Trains Exit Signals from platforms are routed to line route signals ;eg from plat 6 to Down Fast would be DF meaning the route set up would be from 366 - 344.
Trains entering Platforms are routed as above;eg from Manchester Airport to Platform 9 would be 
USt Slade Lane  US = Timing Point.
US - 349 - P9 = Route Set up.
ENT] and EXT] = 2 Set of routes, Entry to Exit or Exit to Entry.
All Auto Buttons are routed straight ahead except for Signal 286(Heald Green)to which is routed to Manchester Airport(Up Airport)

    Line Routes

   Trains routed to Dn Oxford Rd or from Up Oxford Road usually use Slow lines.
   Trains routed to Up Fast or from Dn Fast use Fast lines.
   Trains routed to Up East or from Dn East use East lines.



   Longsight Depot
   ===============
   
   The Depot has it own Signalling Control system.
   Trains wishing to go into or out of Longsight is to inform both Manchester Piccadilly and
   Longsight signaller for permission to Enter or Exit MP/Longsight signalling area by means of slot
   controls.
   The display board of this simualation showing possible routes to either Longsight North or South
